Job description

As a Commercial Services Analyst on the Deal Desk at Accelecom, you will play a crucial role in

supporting the sales, sales engineering and finance team by providing accurate pricing, financial

analysis, and deal structuring guidance. This position involves reviewing and analyzing customer

pricing requests, evaluating pricing strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to

ensure profitability and customer satisfaction. The Commercial Services Analyst also assists in

optimizing pricing models, streamlining processes, and identifying additional revenue

opportunities, known as Capillary Opportunities. This is a dynamic role that requires strong

analytical skills, attention to detail, thorough understanding of technical solutions, and effective

communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
• Pricing Analysis: Analyze solution design detail and financial metrics to optimize pricing
structures, discounting, and bundles to maximize profitability while meeting sales
targets and maintaining competitiveness in the market.
• Deal Structuring: Collaborate with sales engineering and sales team to develop
customized deal structures that align with company goals and address customer
requirements.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis of proposed deals, including revenue
recognition, margin analysis, cost modeling, and forecasting.
• Revenue Optimization: Identify add on revenue opportunities (Capillary) using
ConnectBase and Google Earth to increase profitability and maximize return on
investment.
• Pricing Strategy: Assist in developing pricing strategies based on market trends,
competitive analysis, and customer insights.
• Market Analysis: Assist with market analysis for market expansion exploration as
needed using ConnectBase and ZoomInfo.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, sales engineering, legal,
finance, and operations teams to gather relevant information and resolve deal-related
questions.
• Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance deal desk processes to
streamline operations, improve efficiency, and minimize errors.
• Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deal information, pricing
approvals, and relevant metrics. Utilize reports to track deal pipeline, pricing
performance, and revenue metrics.

• Training and Support: Provide guidance and training to sales teams on deal desk
processes, pricing policies, and tools.

Job requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Economics, or a related field

• 1-3 years experience in a pricing or deal desk role

• Prior experience in the telecom industry preferred

• Experience with Salesforce, ConnectBase and ESRI preferred

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex pricing solu9ons and financial

models

• Proficiency in using financial models built in Excel

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams and stakeholders

• Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet

deadlines

• Familiarity with telecom products, services, and industry trends is an advantage

• Knowledge of legal and contractual terms and conditions is desirable

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to finding solutions
